I wasn't sure what I wanted the theme, if any, to be this week, but when I saw the three of them together I knew exactly the moment I wanted to capture. (Umm... Project 52 + 1?) I love these guys, video game addiction and all.

Week 3
Only got one of my two pictures this week. Some years I'd have just given up at that point, but you know what? I'm nowhere near perfect and I'm going to embrace that: (Project 52 -.05) = acceptable.
Dress Up.
The littlest is full on into his Star Wars phase.

Week 2
When the littlest lands on his head trying to do a handstand and it's 72 degrees in the middle of January the only solution is Popsicles.

Project 52 (Take 3) Week 1
Let's try this again shall we? I started this project twice before (First Go) (Second attempt- which lasted a couple weeks longer) but it never really took. Third time's the charm right? One portrait per child per week. 52 weeks ~ 104 pictures. On theme if possible.
I love that she loves to read. A snuggly blanket, a good book and a rainy evening. Nothing better.
Week 1 "Out of Focus"
This boy LOVES playing outside, the tree probably doesn't love him quite as much..

52/3
For the record I have no intention or plan for their weekly portraits to match up or even have a theme, as they seem to have done. It's simply been a happy coincidence. This week is much the same.

Project 52 - 52/1
I guess I'm feeling ambitious this year because on top of the 365, I am also attempting 'Project 52.'
I'm sure there are multiple versions out there but my plan is; a portrait of my children once a week, every week. When reminiscing over last year's 365 we couldn't help notice how incredible the change is at this age and we decided that we wanted a record.... but there's no way I could take on an additional 365 for each kid! This was our compromise.
and to prove to you it's not going to be all "glossy, posed, rose tinted, my children are perfection nonsense," we start with...
