The adorableness of these photos warrent a post in their own right. How cute is this? Avery and Jessica sharing some plastic veg this morning at PlayNation.

(aww, the photo is way more squished up than I'd like. Click on it and it'll get bigger. I promise.)
Nothing like amusing yourself by putting words in babies' mouths. :)
It was impressive how well they played together, Avery shares so well! She's more likely to give a baby a new toy than to take one away. Though, it does have to be said that all the playgroup babies were on top form today. They all seemed to get along brilliantly. It's really nice being able to hang out with such a good group of moms and kids. The moms aren't the type to let their kiddos run rampant and the offspring aren't likely to anyway!
Playnation is small indoor play area, and as one of the other moms said "have got a good gig going here." (my brain spazzed and I can't remember who I was talking to.) Basically, they sell large swingsets, playhouses, etc. Of course they're going to display their wares so why not lay some soft flooring, print up some liability waivers and charge parents to let their kiddies play on it? Sweet deal for them! Luckily, they don't charge for babies under 15 months so it was also a free morning for most of our group.
Of course I had to add an act of mushy brain into the mix. A week or so ago I'd told my GPS to avoid motorways wherever possible (I was tired of it having me merge onto the 440 for something that could have been reached in the same amount of time without the hassle of 5 lane goodness.) Alas, I forgot to un-set said feature and what should have been a 15 minute jaunt took more like a half hour through the back of beyond. We made it there though and I only took 2 and half wrong turns. (Turning into the wrong section of the business park only counts as a half.)
Only the way home -via major roads- I get a call from Mark, so we head off to meet up with him for lunch. He takes me to his 'local' the Armadillo Grill. Pretty decent! By this time Jessa is definitely feeling the effects of a missed nap so home we go.
All in all a much busier morning than I'm used to, but fun all the same. I think I'm finally getting the hang of driving out here as well. ((be aggressive, be be agressive... HONK! ;))
