Maggie made me cry!

I'm sure it can be chalked up to the excess of hormones but do you know what that girl did? She sent me a care package of everything she could get her hands on to combat morning sickness! I just kept pulling one thing out after another... Three different types of tea, two for morning sickness and one for heartburn. There were these little preggie pop lollipops, chewables for heartburn, vitamins that are supposed to help with MS... it was amazing. Leeloo helped me open the box. She loved everything as much as I did. (I think perhaps she is overly fascinated with the smell of Maggie's house and perhaps Maggie's kitten.) It was all organic, specifically designed for pregnancy stuff and I was amazed and overwhelmed. Isn't she the most awesome? Now I just have to pray that some of it helps! (I have to say... just looking at it all made me feel a bit better! Gotta love the power of the mind!) Found Leeloo a few hours later wrestling with the box of Ginger tea... maybe catnip is one of the ingredients..... :)

This weekend was really rough. Woke up early Sunday morning to a gas bubble in my abdomen that felt like it was trying to kill me. Apparently I rolled around too much trying to get the bubble to dissipate and angered my belly. So I promptly threw up all the stomach bile I could muster. Did you know it's a disturbing yellow colour? Quite distressing when you KNOW you haven't had anything yellow to eat. Well I finally managed to fall back asleep for a few more hours but the day never did get better. I think Mark has finally started to accept that I really am out of commission. He was trying to fend for himself and make some pasta for dinner, but couldn't seem to understand why I wasn't in the kitchen showing him which pot was best etc etc. (I think the moment it might have clicked was when he came looking for me with a pot in hand to ask if it was the right one and found me with my head in the toilet. Does it look like I care which pot you use?!?!)

I'm finding myself really thirsty all the time... but if I drink anything my stomach gets really made and tries to get rid of it immediately. Especially water.

8 weeks 6 days... that means 3 weeks 1 day till 12 weeks. Wouldn't it be amazing if the nausea magically switched off at exactly 12 weeks? (Not that I would complain if it decided to go away before then!)
